Matthew T. Worner has been practicing law for over 20 years. His practice focuses on all issues relating to construction law, the law of mechanic’s liens and real estate law. Through his practice, he represents individuals, contractors, property owners, developers, subcontractors, material suppliers and anyone buying, selling, leasing or refinancing real property or a cooperative apartment.
Mr. Worner has extensive experience with the many different legal issues and challenges that contractors face. For example, Mr. Worner can help with setting up a new entity and obtaining the required licenses to preparing employee agreements, reviewing contracts and indemnity agreements and then, if necessary, guiding clients through the litigation or alternate dispute resolution process.
Mr. Worner has tremendous expertise in the field of mechanic’s liens and is a frequent lecturer to fellow attorneys on topics related to the mechanic’s lien law. He has also represented various trade groups including the Westchester County Association of Licensed Electrical Contractors and the Putnam County Association of Licensed Electrical Contractors.
